History of JSC “Proletarsky zavod”, one of the industrial old residents of Saint-Petersburg, plays an important role in the industrial chronicle of Russia.
Founded in 1826 from the first days of its activity the plant became one of the most powerful diversified machine-building enterprises of the Northern capital.

During last 50 years the company specialized mainly in marine and power engineering.

Over the last years specialists of the company managed to achieve high results in manufacturing of marine systems, mechanisms and complexes some of which don’t have any analogs in domestic practice. "Proletarsky zavod" JSC supplies products for naval vessels and civil ships including aircraft cruisers, nuclear submarines, oil tankers.

There is a significant contribution of the company to development of power engineering of large and small power plants – the company design and produce pump equipment for Thermal Power Stations, Nuclear Power Plants and oil industry, gas turbine generators, steam turbogenerators, transportable gas turbine power plant.
