The LLC «Onega shipyard» is situated on the shore of lake Onega in Karelia's the town of Petrozavodsk, Karelia's capital. The shipyard was created on the base of the shipbuilding and ship-repairing facilities of the OJSC «White Sea and Onega shipping company» and is its daughter company. Together with the «White Sea and Onega shipping company» the Onega shipyard is included in the transportation group of the companies of the Concern «Orimi».

Production and personnel facilities of «Onega shipyad» available now show readiness of the shipyard to build a new fleet of Russia. The real potential of the shipyard is three vessels with a deadweight of up to 6,000 tons annually.

An advantage of the shipyard is that together with the «White Sea and Onega shipping company» it belongs to the same group of companies which renders not only excellent understanding of the client's needs but also the opportunity of equal load of the shipyard facilities on account of placing both own and outside orders.
