Main activities:Joint-Stock Company Bogorodsk Machine-Building Plant was founded on the base of machine-repairing workshops evacuated to Bogorodsk during World War II. Today it is one of the leading enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Due to its experience of over fifty years in the shipbuilding industry the company has become one of the leaders in engine conversion for small-size fleet.
Ship engines made by Bogorodsk Machine-Building Plant have occupied a strong position in the national shipbuilding market for a long time. Many years of experience in engine conversion, own engineering department, and vast production facilities are the assets that allow the company to build ship engines in accordance with the strict requirements of our partners. That is proved by the fact that the company has obtained a license from the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense for building military equipment. The Bogorodsk Machine-Building Plant’s quality system has been certified under the RF State Standards (ÃÎÑÒ Ð and ÃÎÑÒ ÐÂ 15.002 – 2003) and ISO 9001 – 2001 since 2004 and has a certificate of conformance within the Military Register voluntary certification system of the RF Ministry of Defense, as well as a certificate of conformance within the Russian River Register quality certification system.
