Established in 1988, «Polet» Airlines operates Antonov An-124-100 «Ruslan» aircraft to transport oversized and super-heavy cargo. By volume of both domestic and international freight traffic the «Polet» ranks firmly among the top ten Russian airlines.
Since 1999, when the «Polet» became the prime freight carrier of the Russian Aerospace Agensy, the company has been delivering space hardware within Russian Federal Space Program.
The «Polet» is licensed to fly all over the world including the USA, Canada and Japan.
