Euroafrica Shipping Lines Co. Ltd.(ESL) was established on 1st of September 1991, as a result of privatization of former Polish Ocean Lines' Szczecin Division. The core business of ESL is shipping, and all services are concentrated in Polish ports. At present, Euroafrica provides following liner services: to United Kingdom and Ireland, Finland, West African Countries, and Sweden (ferry line under the 'Unity Line' management).
Recently ESL has launched a new weekly ro-ro connection between Polish port (Gdynia and Szczecin )and Russian port of St. Petersburg via Helsinki.
The Company operates 11-13 general cargo vessels, own or chartered in. The fleet managed by ESL serves wide range of cargoes: conventional, containers, lorries, roll-trailers, wagons. Euroafrica offers passenger trips on cargo ships for those who want to experience a maritime adventure. ESL services include door-door deliveries (also in transit). The Company supplies own container equipment. In order to extend its offer Euroafrica developed non-shipping activities via daughter companies: forwarding, customs clearance, hotel and restaurant services, real estate management, accounting.
