Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard delivers "Hazar" Tanker to Turkmendenizderyaellary

Nizhniy Novgorod, October, 27, 2009. The acceptance certificate for the tanker "Hazar" which successfully passed sea trials has been signed. Today, "Hazar" called at the port of Turkmenbashi. The tanker was built by Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard for Turkmen Sea and River Lines (Turkmendenizderyaellary).

The first vessel "Sumbar" was delivered to the customer in August. The contract for the two tankers with the deadweight of 7000 tons was signed in June 2009. The cost of one vessel is $15.5 million, total cost of the contract is $31 million.

Basic characteristics: length - 139.95 m, beam - 16.60 m, hull height - 6 m, deadweight in sea - about 7000 tons with the draft of 4.60 m, in river - 4700 tons with the draft of 3.60 m, capacity of six cargo tanks and two slop tanks - 8090 cubic meters, main propulsion unit - 2×1200 kW, operating speed - 10.5 knots.
