 Zhu Lianyu and his party visit Russian customersDuring March 20-24, Zhu Lianyu, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of ZPMC, and his party went to Russia to visit Rosneft, the United Shipbuilding Group, Novatek, Yamal LNG and other oil and ship building giants as well as main ports of Russia like Nutep Port, Bronka Port, Novorossiysk Port, etc. In addition, they paid a visit to the Baltic Sea Shipyard, the builder of the world's largest nuclear-powered icebreaker.
During their visit, Zhulian Yu discussed with the responsible persons of related enterprises about the business cooperation between both sides in the fields like port machinery, marine engineering, marine service, investment, etc. and signed a a memorandum of cooperation together with Alexey Rakhmanov, President of the United Shipbuilding Corporation.
The United Shipbuilding Corporation The United Shipbuilding Corporation is Russia's largest shipbuilding company and now has more than 60 shipyards, dockyards and design institutes, accounting for more than 80% of Russia's market in this area.
During the meeting, Zhu Lianyu and Alexey Rakhmanov, President of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, signed a memorandum of cooperation, aiming to jointly develop marine engineering products and locally produce ship parts and components to achieve technical cooperation in multiple fields and jointly develop the market of Russia and global marine engineering market.
Rosneft Rosneft is Russia's largest oil&gas company and is also one of the world's major oil&gas companies.
During the meeting, Zhu Lianyu and Laptev, Vice President of Rosneft, discussed the potential cooperation between both sides in terms of drilling platform, engineering vessel, infrastructure of shipyards, etc. Apart from equipment manufacturing, both sides also extended the potential cooperation range to the whole industry chain of oil&gas investment, oil&gas development, etc. Since both sides are large State-owned enterprises, the cooperation is of strategic significance and broad prospects.
Novatek Novatek is Russia's largest independent gas operator, mainly engaged in exploration, mining, processing and marketing of natural gas and LNG, and has 20 years of experience in operation of the oil and gas industry.
During the meeting, Zhu Lianyu and Retivov Valeriy, Vice President of Novatek, jointly discussed the cooperation in terms of production and transportation of LNG modules and so on. Zhu Lianyu expressed the intension to invest in the subsequent LNG projects.
Yamal LNG Yamal LNG, located at Sabetta, north-east of the Yamal Peninsula, Russia, is the world’s super large project integrating natural gas development, liquefying, transportation and marketing. The planned LNG plant will have three trains with capacity of 550 tons of LNG per train per year. ZPMC once participated in the transportation of the modules of the project.
During the meeting, Zhu Lianyu made in-depth exchange with Panarin Ruslan, Deputy General Manager of Yamal LNG Company, about production of LNG modules and the project investment and expressed wishes to develop cooperation in terms of related fields.
Port Bronka of St Petersburg Port Bronka is the only deep-water port of St Petersburg, able to cover the market of about 8,000 people in Russia and Europe. With the unique geographical advantages and under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative, the port has good development prospects. In 2016, the representatives of the port paid a visit to ZPMC.
During the return visit, both sides affirmed the exchange results in the previous visit and plan to deepen cooperation in the fields of future infrastructure construction and investment.
The visit realized the docking of the top management of ZPMC and a number of major state-owned enterprises of Russia. In the background of good Sino-Russian relationship and with the support of the Belt and Road Initiative of China, ZPMC will take root in the market of Russia and comprehensively develop the Russian markets of infrastructure construction, marine engineering, oil and gas, etc.
The relevant heads of the Marketing and Service Center, Marine Service Group, International Group and Marine Engineering Group of ZPMC attended the visit.
